When we opened our tasting room we spent months scouring the country in search of the best cheese and charcuterie to serve on our signature boards to accompany our wines. During the Communist era in Hungary, the art of cheesemaking, sadly, was more or less lost and mass-produced cheese became the norm. These days hobby (as well as professional) cheesemaking is being re-discovered, but production is on a very small scale. We are proud to source our cheese directly from the country’s finest artisan cheesemakers. We also buy our cured meat straight from the farmers, including mangalica pork sausages, free-range water buffalo salami, smoked duck breast, and grey beef sausage. Our cheese and charcuterie board is a simple and perfect complement to the wine selection, which includes various styles of wines from around the country. Do you want to know more?
